Godswill Akpabio breaks silence on rumors of having many side chics

Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Nigerian Senate, speaks out in reaction to accusations that he has a lot of side chicks.

You may recall that a controversial blogger, caused a stir on the internet when he revealed the names of some of the Senate President’s side chics, including Nancy Isime, Hilda Baci, Wanneka, Ini Edo, and Dakore Egbuson, among others.

Godswill Akpabio remembers telling Senator Natasha Akpoti that their club was not the kind of place where people were expected to yell. He claimed that his remarks caused a stir on social media, that his wife’s phone number was made public, that she received more than 3,000 calls a day, and that her phone broke.

The Senate President expressed his delight at the level of interest shown by Nigerians in Senate.

He went on to say that, contrary to popular belief, he only has one wife and is quite happy with her.

Godswill Akpabio also apologized directly to Senator Natasha over his statement if she was offended by it.

In other news, Actress Dakore Akande has issued a cease and desist notice to the notorious Instagram blog “Gistloversblog” following a post linking her romantically with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

According to the notice, Akande’s legal representatives claimed that the blog published “suggestive and libellous content” featuring Akande’s image, which could “tarnish our Client’s reputation”.

The article, which has now gone viral, links Akande to Akpabio, despite her being “happily married to Mr Akande for many years” and having “never met the said Senate President in person or otherwise.”

Akande’s lawyers are demanding that the offending tweet be removed immediately, as well as an end to “any further defamatory statements” about the actress.

Her legal representation stated that failure to comply within 24 hours may result in “aggressive legal actions,” such as seeking damages, injunctive relief.
